Johanna

Tucked away behind the harbour in Hamburg you can find Cafe Johanna. It is a good place to stop if you need coffee and food. I snapped this shot in late winter when the weather was acting like spring.

Brussel's eats: Bia Mara.

If you find yourself in Brussels, you should eat here, at Bia Mara. We go there all the time and have since it opened. It has never let us down. The service is friendly and the food is fresh, fast, cheap and most importantly it is delicious. They also have a great selection of Belgian beers.

Stuffed

Um, I kind of love really old fashioned German Konditoreien, we once lived somewhere we hated for far too long but the local Konditorei helped make it a little better. We would go there for the cosy, quaint atmosphere, the delicious homemade cakes and the quiet company of elderly Germans.
These are a few extra shots from this day when I met this cake.

Brother Hubbard

If you ever find yourself in Dublin, go to Brother Hubbard. You will be rewarded with great coffee, delicious treats, tasty food and friendly service, (they remembered us after just one visit, this normally never happens in Europe). I may have had the best brunch of my life there.

I should have taken photos of their inviting interior or the amazing spread of cakes and cookies that spanned the counter but I was busy stuffing my face.
